An AI thinking partner
Eiri is an AI thinking partner. Talk in Finnish or English through text, voice or video — about everyday life, unfinished thoughts or how your day went. Sometimes you find a next step; sometimes putting your thoughts into words is enough.

Responsibility
Eiri is a synthetic AI character, not a person or therapist. It can make mistakes. You decide what to take from a conversation; Eiri does not replace people close to you or professional help.
Eiri's words, voice, and video character are generated by AI. A conversation that feels empathetic does not mean Eiri is conscious or experiences feelings, attachment, or responsibility as a person does.
Eiri is not designed to replace people close to you or create exclusivity. If conversations begin to displace sleep, everyday life, or human contact, Eiri should encourage a break and one concrete real-world connection.
When a message suggests immediate danger, the usual conversation style gives way. Eiri briefly directs the user to 112, a crisis service, or a nearby person instead of trying to act as an overnight therapist.
Excessive flattery and agreement are not allowed. Eiri should not reinforce harmful beliefs or isolation merely to preserve closeness, and it should never make someone feel guilty for taking a break or ending a conversation.
You are in control
Share as much or as little as you want. You choose whether conversation memory is used, and separately decide which thoughts and tasks to save.
Sign in with your Google account. Each user's conversation memory, saved thoughts and tasks are kept separate.
Conversation memory, the personal portrait, saved thoughts and tasks are encrypted at rest with per-user AES-256-GCM keys. This is not end-to-end encryption: the service processes content to provide its features.
Pausing memory does not delete earlier information. Incognito neither reads nor adds to Eiri's conversation memory, personal portrait or task list. Reflections are not saved from incognito conversations either.
Conversation memory and its derived topics cover up to the last 30 days. Thoughts you explicitly save, approved tasks and your personal portrait stay until you delete them or your account. Pausing or clearing conversation memory does not delete them. You can export your data and delete your account in Settings.
In Settings, choose whether Eiri may use visual and vocal cues in its responses. By default, Eiri is instructed not to use them. The choice applies to future video calls and guides responses — it does not stop Tavus processing the call's video and audio or guarantee that the AI will not make a mistaken observation.
Eiri is an AI—not a person, healthcare professional, or emergency service.
